At almost any pot-luck, large family gathering, birthday party, you name it the ubiquitous veggie and dip tray will be there - most often with a ranch dip. For vegans that usually means there’s just a veggie tray. Don’t get me wrong, veggies are great on their own.  But for those times when you really want that dip option back, there’s this.

Makes about ¾ of a cup

How it's made

Ranch Seasoning Mix

2 tbsp dried parsley

 

Mix all spices together in a small bowl.

4 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp dried onion flakes

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp salt

1½ tsp dried dill

1 tsp dried chives

1 tsp pepper

 

Dip

⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk

 

Place in a small pot, mix well until flour dissolves, and cook on medium heat until reaching a boil plus one more minute. Remove from heat and let cool (about 30-40 minutes).

1 tbsp flour

1 tbsp Ranch Seasoning Mix

 

⅓ cup vegan mayo

 

Once the mixture is cooled, add the rest of the ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

1 tbsp lemon juice

Helpful tips

Keeps in the fridge for about 2 days. Great as a dip for a vegetable tray or with chips.
