Mixed Berry and Chia Jam

Mixed Berry and Chia Jam

This recipe is a great, quick way to create a homemade jam, and it only requires ingredients you probably already have in the house. I chose to use mixed frozen berries, but you can choose any frozen fruit that you like. Chia seeds do a great job of thickening the jam, while at the same time infuse it with added protein, omega-3s, fiber, antioxidants, and many other nutrients making it jam that is actually good for you.

Helpful tips

This jam can be kept in the fridge for up to a week. It's great on toast with peanut butter, or used in desserts that call for jams, such as Shortbread Berry Balls.
